We were visiting family but needed our own space, and Zoobilee was just right for our 4-night stay with a preschooler. Jerome is a helpful and responsive host. Easy check in & simple check out. I don't think any previous reviewers have mentioned this, but it must be said for anyone familiar with Wichita: the neighborhood is so much more inviting than it was when I last lived in the city about 25 years ago. Neighbors acknowledged me & waved when taking their dogs out. The renovation and rehab are impressive. Trust the listing pics, not the old street view or your old memories. Do note that it's pet friendly, which means both dogs and cats, if you are allergic. The living area is all on one floor, but there are three or four steps up from driveway & garage to the house, covered front porch, & covered wraparound veranda. Inside, the house feels much bigger than you would expect for 2 bedrooms, 1 bath. The large, double-size bedroom with queen & daybed was great for parents to share with little ones. Second bedroom is a generous size and a feels private even though it's off the kitchen. Basement is clean & well-lit, with full-size washer & dryer. There is a good safety gate at the top of the stairs. Kitchen table is bar height and seats 4. Bathroom is a comfortable size, reasonable water pressure, plenty of towels etc. Noise-wise, it was absolutely normal, busy street stuff, other than some jerk on a motorcycle ripping past once or twice on Friday night. Across Zoo Blvd, heavy trains rumbled slowly past a few times a day but I barely noticed. Each bedroom has a good floor fan for white noise.

There is nothing I dislike liked about the home

One of my favorite things about this property was how clean, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated it was. It had a warm, welcoming feel that made it easy to relax. The space was well-maintained, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I also loved the peaceful atmosphere and how convenient the location was. You can really tell the host puts care into making guests feel at home. I would absolutely stay here again!
