10-MINUTE WALK INTO TOWN!
This cozy home sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children and is pet-friendly. It also offers ample parking on the driveway for 3 cars—plus street parking. Three of the bedrooms have super king-size beds, and the fourth has a king-size bed. The house overlooks the River Dee, offering the best of both city and country living. It’s just a short walk into the city, offering the luxury of a city retreat.
£50 per night per person fee for additional guests—the house sleeps only 8 adults.
£10/dog fee; pet sitting available.
The space
This cozy Chester pad is perfect for any family, friend, or pet getaway!
On the first floor is the kitchen, equipped with all brand-new appliances, which leads to the dining room that seats 10 and on to the comfortable living room. The dining room is connected to the sunroom, which seats 5. It can be opened to provide access to the secure back patio. There is also a bedroom downstairs, as well as a downstairs bathroom equipped with a shower—ideal for guests who have difficulty with stairs.
The house is equipped with dinner plates, side plates, pasta bowls, soup bowls, mugs, and all cutlery for all 10 guests. It also provides wine, Prosecco, beer, and soda glasses for 10. The kitchen is equipped with a Tassimo coffee machine, for which I provide coffee pods. I also ensure the house is stocked with dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent in case you need to use these appliances during your stay. The kitchen overlooks the scenic Chester Meadows, a nature reserve known as a habitat for many animals—often allowing guests to spot owls.
The backyard is completely safe and fenced in, allowing dogs to roam freely. The patio is furnished with two separate tables—one seating four and the other seating six—plus a gas grill, making the house the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing summer afternoon.
Upstairs are the three remaining bedrooms. Two are equipped with chrome-cast TVs and two cozy children’s/toddler beds. I have provided a hair dryer for guests to use. The second bathroom is also upstairs and features a bathtub/shower as well as a separate toilet.
NEW FOR 2022: A GAMES ROOM WITH AN INTERCHANGEABLE AIR HOCKEY TABLE, TABLE TENNIS TABLE, AND POOL TABLE, PLUS AN XBOX CONSOLE WITH 5.1 SURROUND SOUND. COMPLETELY SEPARATE FROM THE HOUSE, MAKING IT IDEAL FOR CHILDREN OR AS A MAN CAVE!
No need to worry about city parking—the driveway is large enough for 2–3 cars.
Despite being just a short 10-minute walk from the city center, the house is located on a quiet cul-de-sac. It’s also in an ideal location for ordering takeout from services like Deliveroo, Uber Eats, and Just Eat, as well as many other local restaurants that offer delivery. The house address and ZIP code information will be provided to you upon your arrival, allowing you to place these orders.
If you’re bringing your pet along, or simply enjoy exploring the outdoors, you’ll be happy to know that the house is just a stone’s throw away from great walking trails. You’ll enjoy exploring the meadows and spotting wildlife, as well as visiting the Chester Racecourse and walking around its perimeter. And let’s not forget the famous Chester walls. There are also many beautiful trails along the River Chester; please ask me if you need any walking recommendations during your stay.
I’m more than happy to accommodate any requests upon your arrival. If you’d like the fridge stocked with food and drinks, or if you need toiletries or anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask me. I can also make your stay more special if you’re celebrating a special occasion and would like the house decorated for your arrival. Banners, balloons, and cakes can be provided for a fee to ensure you enjoy your time at the house and make it as memorable as possible.
