My family of 4 had a great time at this property. House was spacious & clean with private pool. Walking distance to several coffee shops & restaurants. Next door to The Pipe House for surf lessons & rentals. Lots of grocery options nearby. Beach access with little people. Walk to one end of beach to swim calm river entering ocean. Lots to explore. We would definitely come back.

We spent 8 nights at this house in Feb/Mar 2026. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house is steps away from a gorgeous beach, which was a big highlight. Felipe, our host, was very friendly and kind. The beds were comfortable and clean, as were the bathrooms. There was AC available in the livingroom and both bedrooms, along with ceiling fans, which all helped keep us comfortable. That said, there were parts of the house where the cleanliness was not up to expectations (coffeemaker was very dirty on arrival, some of the dishes, high touch zones, inside of closets). There were a few other things that would have made the stay more comfortable, such as curtains that blocked the morning light and cushions on the outdoor furniture. I would also have appreciated if there was communication binder to give us information about the house, the area, and to answer FAQs. Our family had a wonderful time in Playa Grande, and we thank Felipe and his family for allowing us to use their space.

An excellent property, comfortable close to the beach and complete with howler monkeys occassionally passing through the trees.
