A cozy and charming apartment of approximately 75 square meters, sleeping up to 4 people, located on the first floor of a renovated historic building (NO elevator). The property is located in the heart of Ortigia (ZTL), the charming historic center of Syracuse, just a short walk from the city’s main attractions.

The interior layout is as follows:

- LIVING ROOM with KITCHENETTE (featuring an induction cooktop, refrigerator with freezer, kettle, oven, microwave, wine glasses, and various kitchen utensils), dining table, sofa, and access to the small balcony;

- BEDROOM with a double bed, a queen-size sofa bed, smart TV, desk, closet, and access to the small balcony;

- BATHROOM with shower stall, sink, bidet, and toilet.



ADDITIONAL AMENITIES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited Wi-Fi, air conditioning with heat pumps (split units in the living room and bedroom), ceiling fans, iron and ironing board, clothesline, hair dryer, and washing machine (in the storage room on the first floor).

PLEASE NOTE: Please note that there are internal stairs leading from the entrance to the first floor, where the apartment is located; please exercise caution if traveling with children. A safety gate is provided.



7 days before arrival, you will receive instructions on how to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay, up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night, for up to 7 consecutive nights).

We need this procedure to verify your information and documents and to send the details to the Alloggiati Web police service, which is the Italian system for registering guests in Italy.

The use of air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian regulations (Presidential Decree No. 74 of April 16, 2013; Ministerial Decree No. 383 of 6.10.2022).

Summer: The average air temperature must not be lower than 26°C for all types of buildings.

Winter: The weighted average air temperature must not exceed 19°C. The heating season and the daily operating time depend on the climate zone defined by the regulations.

Syracuse Climate Zone B: 7 hours per day from December 8 to March 23.



Check-in will be via online self-check-in; and completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to retrieve the keys and gain access to the apartment.

Keys can be retrieved free of charge via the on-site keybox.

If you encounter any problems, telephone support is available until 10:00 PM.



If you would prefer to receive the keys from a member of our staff at the apartment, this is possible upon request for an additional fee of:

- From 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM: 15.00 euros;

- From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM: 25.00 euros.



The apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful island of Ortigia; all the main attractions are just a few minutes’ walk away.

As you stroll through the island’s streets, you can admire centuries of history, splendid palaces, lively trattorias and cafés, as well as other monuments such as Maniace Castle, the Aretusa Spring, and Piazza del Duomo, one of the most spectacular squares in all of Sicily. In the summer, you can swim off the rocks or at some of the small beaches and sunbathing areas along the waterfront. Breathtaking views can be enjoyed year-round.

- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: You can reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS service that connects Catania Airport to Catania Central Station, where you can take the regional train to Syracuse Station, about a 20-minute walk from the property.



- FROM SYRACUSE STATION: You can reach the apartment on foot in less than 25 minutes or by taking local buses.



- IF YOU’RE TRAVELING BY CAR: The nearest parking lot is 550 meters from the apartment and is called Talete. It is open 24 hours a day and offers affordable rates.
