Welcome to our retro vacation rental, “Zeitreise,” in Kirchberg, the oldest town in the Hunsrück region—just 12 km from Frankfurt-Hahn Airport (HHN). 
The vacation rental is located on the first floor of a two-family house on a quiet side street, right on the outskirts of town yet just a few minutes’ walk from downtown.

It offers plenty of space for two people and is ideal for anyone who loves the charm of the past.
If you’d like, you can run errands for daily necessities on foot from the vacation rental:

Just a few steps from the vacation rental, the beautiful countryside begins, with numerous hiking and biking trails that invite you to go on extended explorations.

The starting point for the “Traumschleifchen Karrenberg” loop, for example, is just 1.7 km away, and the “Traumschleife Diller Burgpfad” loop, with its beautiful “Elfenpfad” (Elves’ Trail), is just 5.6 km from the vacation rental. A backpack for your excursions is provided in the vacation rental.
The Freiherr-von-Drais Bike Trail, which starts at the water tower, runs around the town of Kirchberg.
Storage space for bicycles you bring with you is available in the vacation rental.
Kirchberg, centrally located in the Hunsrück region, also offers an excellent starting point for road trips in all directions: in about 30 minutes, you can reach the beautiful Rhine-Moselle region or the Geierlay suspension bridge in Mörsdorf. 

For those who still want to experience the big city, cities such as Mainz (Mainz Cathedral and the Gutenberg Museum), Wiesbaden (Biebrich Palace and Neroberg with the Nerobergbahn), Trier (Porta Nigra and Trier Cathedral), or Koblenz (Deutsches Eck and Ehrenbreitstein) in about an hour’s drive. You can also reach the Luxembourg border in about an hour by car.
