Nice place to stay in Vieques - it's a great location, clean, and well supplied. It's as advertised - and the host provides plenty of helpful information. The whole setting with the cats, horses and hens / roosters / chicks roaming around make it a fun experience.

Great location easy walking distance to where all the excursions are. Bedrooms have a/c ( much appreciated especially if you are not used to not having it ) . The neighborhood cats, chickens and horses are such a delight. We loved the cute charm and hostess was very helpful and accommodating. Would stay here again and 3 days was not enough for our family. There is so much to do and explore around the island. Home had beach gear, beach towels and coolers to use. We did not take the time to use the kitchen which seemed to have everything you would need. Great place , great location , very clean

It was sooo wonderful to stay here! Very well stocked, charming decor. Electricity went out for a bit (a lot of Esperanza had the same issue) and it was very hot without the fans going, but fortunately it was only a couple hours before power was restored. Just part of island living. You must be OK with roosters crowing VERY early… i wore ear plugs and got used to it. If you are an animal lover it’s a great place because there are friendly cats that hang about.Spacious and fun place to stay!

Not a great stay for me. Between the roosters and the malfunctioning air conditioning units, it was always incredibly loud. Not peaceful at all. I somehow got more mosquito bites and various insect bites inside that house than on any beach or outdoors. I knew the AC was going to be in the room, I guess I just thought it would extend to other parts of the home. It did not. It’s was an unbearably uncomfortable stay for me, constantly itchy, sweating and alarmed. I will also say I was working through the stay and was asked to put myself on mute on a zoom call due to the alarming and distracting sounds of the roosters. Maybe if you’re only using the space to sleep and you’re okay sleeping underneath layers of bug spray you’ll have a more pleasant time.
