The room was lovely as were the staff and the Sunday was amazing

The fact that we were told after we arrived that there was no breakfast options. The pub was due to shut at nine but the barman informed that he would be calling last orders at 8 as it was quiet and he could get away early........ Unfortunately we were left to our own devices at that point ... It was made clear that we were not allowed dogs on the bed but we didn't have one. Also told that check out was 10am and to leave the key in the door It is missing some customer service skills

Unfortunately, there were too many negatives even though the price was low. The room was pleasant enough, and the shower worked well.

Firstly, the pub was closed on our arrival (Tuesday and Wednesdays) but this was not made known to us on Booking.com so on arrival everything was deserted and we had to literally hunt for our room. Secondly we met The hosts by chance in the car park but they didn’t particularly go out of their way to welcome us. Thirdly, the biggest problem was how small the twin beds were and how very very uncomfortable they were. God forbid if they had a 6 foot man sleeping in one of those beds because not only would his feet hang over the end they would probably fall out of the bed because it was so narrow. Lastly the towels that were offered in the room seemed very thin and cheap. I would never offer towels like this to my guests. I would not stay here again.
