Opinie

10 / 10

Excellent property! One of our best beach trips in last 20 years. Excellent beach view. Luv the pool and fire pit! Beds exceptionally comfortable. Plenty towels and pool toys and beach chairs. Recommend highly for large families. Slight negatives: not much pantry space, half BBQ pit would not light, had to turn on hot tub blowers at instrument box on side of house. Still we would definitely return to Elysian Unwind next year

We were really disappointed with our stay at this beach house. One of the main reasons we booked this property was for the pool and hot tub, but neither worked during our stay. We contacted both the owners and maintenance multiple times, and while they were responsive and said they were trying to fix the issues, nothing was ever resolved before we left. Neither the pool nor hot tub would heat and eventually the pump stopped working on both. We tried to be patient and talk with the staff, again, we realize these things can happen. For the price we paid, having these amenities out of service was a major letdown and significantly impacted our vacation experience. The house itself was great, but advertising a pool and hot tub that are unusable feels misleading. We understand things can break, but there should have been either a prompt repair or better communication beforehand. We were told on the final day they couldn’t fix it and they would refund us. They offered 500 and we payed over 6,000. Unfortunately, we would not stay here again unless we knew these issues had been permanently fixed. I attached a picture of our vicinities in comparison to our neighbors.

One of the few beach houses that is Handicap friendly and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect access to the beach for my mom who can’t climb stairs. There is a pool and jacuzzi with privacy which was also nice. However, the jacuzzi jets didn’t work and we never got any help with getting it to work but the pool was heated so that was OK.. Chat worked and we did get responses from owner when we try to inquire about the Jacuzzi.
