Fuchswinkel Vacation Home, a detached house in the Harz Mountains, located in 06493 Harzgerode in the Güntersberge district. Accommodates up to 4 people in approx. 84 square meters of living space, including the terrace area, spread over 2 levels. Barbecue fireplace with a garden surrounded by nature in the beautiful Selke Valley.

General:
Very well-equipped vacation home. Very quiet location, yet centrally situated for all kinds of activities.

Living Room
The bright and spacious living area with a kitchenette and dining nook features a glass front opening onto the terrace. From the pull-out sofa, you can enjoy an evening of TV on the large 75-inch smart TV with satellite connection.

Kitchen
The bright, well-designed kitchen-dining area on the upper floor is modern and fully equipped. From the dining area, you have a view of the nearby Netherköpfchen and the village.

Master bedroom
The master bedroom is located on the upper floor of the house. You’ll find a modern and comfortable box-spring bed (160×210) for a restful night’s sleep. In addition, a wardrobe offers plenty of space to store your belongings. The 32-inch smart TV (smart only) is available for your entertainment. Connect your media devices, such as an Amazon Stick.

Children’s Room
The children’s room is located on the (lower) first floor right next to the entrance and can accommodate two children or adults. Two bunk beds (90x210) are fitted into the room. The little ones can watch TV undisturbed on the 32-inch smart TV (smart only). Connect your media devices, such as an Amazon Stick. A crib and a high chair are available free of charge for our youngest guests.

Bathroom + Guest Restroom
The spacious bathroom with a shower is located on the (lower) first floor. A hair dryer is provided. Across from the bathroom is an additional restroom and an urinal.

Hallway
On the first floor, you’ll find the entrance to the house and a spacious hallway leading to the children’s room and the bathrooms. From here, a spiral staircase leads to the living area and the master bedroom on the upper floor. Here you’ll also find extensive information about tourist destinations in the Harz Mountains.

Outdoor Area
The spacious outdoor area, featuring a lovingly landscaped garden on a hillside, offers the perfect spot to relax outdoors. In the summer, the large sun terrace becomes a second living room. It’s a great place to relax, with a view of the valley. A built-in grill and garden furniture invite you to enjoy cozy barbecue evenings. The terrace can also be accessed from the outside via a staircase. There are two private parking spaces in front of the house.

Location
Haus Fuchswinkel is located in a secluded spot, yet it’s close enough to all kinds of attractions in the Eastern and Upper Harz regions.
The state-recognized resort town of Güntersberge is situated in the upper Selke Valley and has a station on the Selketalbahn, one of the lines of the Harz Narrow-Gauge Railway. The mountain lake, not far from our vacation home, is perfect for swimming in the summer, and hiking trails leading to Stiege, Allrode, or Friedrichsbrunn start right outside the door. The house is in a very quiet location and can be reached via an unpaved nature trail. Pullman City, the suspension bridge, and the mines are easily accessible by car, bus, or the Selketalbahn. The Brocken can be reached by train with one transfer.

Rides on the Selketalbahn and buses are free of charge.
The town of Harzgerode charges a visitor’s tax, which must be paid to the landlord no later than upon arrival.
Adults: 2.50 euros per night
Children ages 7–17: 1.50 euros per night
Discounts are available upon presentation of appropriate proof.

Pet fees:
Up to 2 dogs are allowed. The cost per pet per night is 12 euros.

Additional costs:
Any additional charges that cannot be booked during the reservation process will be listed by the landlord in a separate invoice prior to arrival and must be paid by the tenant before arrival.
Subsequent additional bookings or changes that require a revised invoice will be charged a fee of 25.- per invoice.
A bed linens and towel package must be booked as part of the reservation. The beds will be made by the host. Cost per person: 15.00 euros.
