We where met on arrival by friendly staff. Showers where hot and good.
There where no mattress protectors on the beds and the couch in the living area was covered in what looked like sawdust

Our host Yolanda was absolutely efficient and welcoming. She is definitely the heart of Herbertdale.

The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us. Our car broke down just outside Kokstad, and they kindly opened up for us after hours. They even drove me to Avis so I could rent a car. Their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to assist during a stressful situation were greatly appreciated. I highly recommend them.
