O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
Looking for a comfortable Guildford base without squeezing everyone into a hotel room? This welcoming two-bedroom house gives you space to spread out, your own garden and parking for one car — ideal for families, couples, colleagues or anyone making Guildford home for a little while.
The Space:
Downstairs, you’ll find a well-equipped kitchen complete with a washer-dryer, plus an open-plan living and dining room made for lazy breakfasts, family dinners and putting your feet up at the end of the day.
There’s also a handy downstairs loo — because one bathroom is never quite enough when everyone decides to get ready at the same time! Upstairs are two comfortable double bedrooms and the family bathroom. Outside, you’ll have your own private garden, although it isn’t fully enclosed, so four-legged guests will need to stay on their lead while exploring.
When you’re ready to venture out, Guildford has plenty to keep you busy. Wander the historic cobbled High Street, explore Guildford Castle and its gardens, catch a show at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre or head down to the River Wey for a peaceful waterside walk. If you fancy something a little more energetic, the Surrey Hills are right on Guildford’s doorstep, with beautiful countryside, walking trails and plenty of country pubs waiting at the end — purely for hydration purposes, of course.
Back at home, you’ll have gas central heating, double glazing and all the everyday essentials for a comfortable short or longer stay.
Once your reservation is confirmed, Smarter Rent will ask for a copy of your ID and for you to sign our House Rules. Then it’s simply a case of unpacking, claiming your bedroom and making yourself at home.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the heart of historic Guildford, our property places you within easy reach of the town's most celebrated landmarks. A short journey brings you to the medieval ruins of Guildford Castle, where you can climb the Great Tower for breathtaking panoramic views. Culture enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to the impressive 20th century Guildford Cathedral and the renowned Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, which hosts a vibrant array of performances. For those interested in local heritage, the Guildford Museum offers fascinating insights into the area. Families can enjoy a relaxing day at the Guildford Lido, a heated outdoor pool set within beautiful grounds, or take a peaceful stroll to the enchanting Silent Pool, famous for its tranquil atmosphere and crystal clear waters.
Getting Around:
Getting around is nice and easy from this part of Guildford, whether you’re heading into town, commuting into London or exploring more of Surrey.
For trains, Clandon is the closest railway station at around 2 km away, while London Road (Guildford) and Guildford mainline station are also within easy reach. Guildford is the bigger transport hub and a particularly useful option for travelling towards London Waterloo, as well as destinations across Surrey and further afield.
If you’d rather hop on a bus, there are several stops close to the property, including Kingfisher Drive Shops, Baldwin Crescent and Sheeplands Avenue. The number 6 is particularly handy for getting between Burpham and Guildford town centre, while other services from the wider Burpham area head towards Woking and Kingston.
So whether you’re catching a train into London, heading into Guildford for dinner and shopping or venturing out for a Surrey adventure, you’ve got plenty of options — and the car doesn’t have to join you for every outing.
