La Fattoria

Amazing stay! I can only confirm all the great things people have said before me. The location is stunning, and honestly even better than in the pictures. When searching for it on Google Maps, make sure you put in Ristorante Pizzeria Hotel La Fattoria — then you’ll find it easily. Be aware that the entrance is directly off a rather fast road, so make sure you don’t miss the turn. The road up the hill itself is paved and perfectly fine, just very steep. Castelsardo and everything else in the area is within easy reach. The lovely people running the place are incredibly welcoming and caring. As mentioned by others, they only speak Italian, which gave me a great opportunity to practice mine 😊. It’s not a problem at all, though, and their warmth more than makes up for the language barrier. And of course, you can always communicate using your phone if needed. Also, as mentioned by other guests: do eat at the restaurant as much as you can! I had what I can confidently say was the best seafood pasta of my life. The portion was generous, the prices are great, and the view from the restaurant is amazing. The rooms are nice, very clean and spacious, with a lovely terrace. The pool is also really nice. When I came back on a Sunday afternoon, there was a party taking place at the property. I think this has been mentioned in other reviews as well, so if that might be a deal breaker for you, it’s worth checking beforehand whether there will be an event during your stay. It may be something that happens more often on weekends. Personally I didn’t mind it. It was lively and the band was good. Overall, I can totally recommend this place. I would absolutely come back — and honestly wish I could have stayed longer!

Een heel mooie locatie in de bergen, heel lekker ontbijt met alles erop en eraan, heel vriendelijke uitbaters en personeel. Je kon er 's avonds ook lekker eten....

Hele vriendelijke uitbaters. Superontbijt! Heel lekkere croissant en brood. Groot zwembad maar niet verwarmd. Het eten in het restaurant was heel lekker. Prachtige ligging en toch niet ver van Castelsardo. Eigen badkamer en toilet. Kamer wordt elke dag in orde gebracht met nieuwe handdoeken. Grote parking op het terrein.

Nadelen: geen wifi op de kamers (wel buiten op de terras van het restaurant en in het restaurant uiteraard. Uitbaters spreken enkel Italiaans maar doen al het mogelijke om zich verstaanbaar te maken. Locatie: Strada Provinciale 13km7 niet te vinden op gps. Op waze "La Fattoria" ingevuld en dan konden we het wel vinden op het adres: Punta Vitiosa.
