The place is in a really great location, and Hamza gave us a very warm welcome. The photos are exactly as shown, and the beds are comfortable. Hamza knows all the best spots to take you to enjoy good food and explore the town (and the temple) at reasonable prices. We also had the chance to admire the sunset and stargaze right from the roof terrace (which is still under construction, but that didn’t stop us from making ourselves at home there). The place is quiet, very pleasant, and you feel right at home there. I’d recommend it 100 per cent! I can’t wait to go back.

About an 5 minute walk from the local bus station, we found this wonderful, super clean, hospitable guest house. From the start we were warmly welcomed with access to everything. A lounge area, a balcony, a dining table, a kitchen in the main area. The bedroom is a great size and super comfortable and clean. There is a fridge in the room as well. The bathroom was spotless with great hot water; not that you really needed it. A washing machine if available for use as well. We felt right at home here and wished we could have stayed longer. This would really suit a family as everything is upstairs. Hamza, our host we so friendly, he arranged the tuk tuk driver to take us backwards and forwards to the town and the temple. His breakfast was a superb Egyptian breakfast, fresh and yummy. He also recommended good places to eat in town. He arranged our tickets to the Sound and Light show and also our bus tickets back to Aswan. We highly recommend you book here if coming to Abu Simbel. If we ever get a chance to come back we will return here.

Communication prior to arrival was clear and prompt, and once we arrived, we didn't have to worry about a single thing. While most tourists only do day trips, staying here for a night is a must! Hamza took care of all our transportation needs and showed incredible hospitality. He took us to his secret spot to watch the sunset, showed us around the neighborhood, and gave us great recommendations for our Abu Simbel trip. He also helped us book a boat for the sunrise. He was so kind, and the breakfast the next morning was great too. Highly recommended!
