Séjour paisible près de Genève

Le petit-déjeuner était fantastique, avec le meilleur pain que nous ayons mangé pendant nos vacances. L'hôte était très gentil, accueillant et chaleureux. Un séjour aux petits oignons !

We loved everything about our stay. It was exactly as described only better. Parking was free and easy to access. We were welcomed at the gate, assisted with our bags and immediately given a tour of the facilities. We were able to cook it dinner easily in the kitchen area which was well supplied with good quality saucepans, sharp knives etc. We loved the atmosphere and the sense of character - history and modern art combined to create a really charming accommodation. The bedroom we had was clean and comfortable with plenty of space and a lovely view to the hills and farmland. We enjoyed sitting outside to eat dinner and then watching the cows walk past the door in the morning on their way to be milked. While the bathrooms were shared, they were immaculate and there was no problem with accessing facilities when needed. Breakfast was generous and included beautiful fresh bread, a range of spreads, fresh eggs, cheese and great coffee.

It was perfect and exceeded our expectations. I would love to say we will be back soon but it is a little far from New Zealand!

The room was big and spacious, had nice view to the garden. Beds were big and comfortable. The organic eggs for breakfast were a nice touch and much appreciated.

The main drawbacks were the shared bathroom, which was not clearly highlighted in the description, and the breakfast setup. Although breakfast was included, it was entirely self-service, including preparing the food and washing the dishes, with no dishwasher available. There were also not enough tables and seats for all guests during breakfast. Overall, considering these limitations, we felt that the price was too high for what was provided.
