Brewery Park Hotel

Modern. Clean. Good bed.

Felt unwelcoming with only contact next day response to messages. For the price I would expect a phone number that is answered 24/7 or at least 6 am to 10 pm (not 10 am to 6 pm). We stayed at other contactless units had a phone numbers for both the manager and owner without any time restrictions. We had a late arrival and had a hard time getting into the unit. We finally figured it out after re-reading instructions and guessing and trial and error. At 8 pm we could not find anyplace close that we could get in to eat without reservations. The location was further out than expected. Also large uncovered window is next to neighbors smoking patio so not good if you are shy. Update- the manager/owner did respond and reports the shades pull down, which I had tried, but they were up high and it was a large window so I abandoned the effort. After thinking about our stay I decreased our rating as the owner seems to over value their property and doesn't want to be bothered. It would take very little effort to make this place much more welcoming, with better instructions, emergency contact information and maybe some information about the area and recommend that quests make dinner reservations.

Excellent breakfast and staff

Deck space

Location, ease of access, design, helpful staff

Problem with shower drainage in our unit

Large room. Kitchenette nice

Furniture and rugs stained. A lot of street noise. Said parking available in front of hotel but signs indicated need for permit. Hotel desk not staffed regularly so didn’t find out until last day of stay that it was rarely enforced. Also listing did not mention lack of elevator
