From surviving the Great Flood of 1937, to entertaining Paducah natives Vice-President Alben Barkley and humorist Irvin S. Cobb, people ask "Is the place haunted?" and we reply: Only with the happiest of memories :)

Architecture Enthusiasts:
When you book your stay, don't miss the grand architectural details: stone quoins on the first-story corners, keystone lintels over the third-story windows, Ionic-capitaled brick pilasters, and a dentilated and modillioned cornice at the roofline. The entablature is treated with molded terra cotta swags and garlands that encircle and connect round attic story windows.
