Appartamento pulito, con tutti i comfort e accessori utili a un piacevole soggiorno. Vicino al mare e in una posizione ottimale.

The apartment has two balconies with a partial sea view. Generally, good size of the rooms. Check-in went smoothly, all information was provided on how to check-in by yourself. The bed was generally good, and the towels clean and white. The host was available on WhatsApp and wrote in English, generally responsive and respectful. You can see good intention. He offered late checkin at 12 pm, that was helpful. It was just several minutes on foot from the beach, and the beach was nice for swimming or resting, with several cafes and places where you can rent a lounge with umbrellas.

Main issues were: - As I entered the apartment, I saw lots of black hair on the bathroom floor and in the toilet (ironically, the toilet was covered with paper stating that it was cleaned, as they do in hotels - but as I opened the toilet lid, there was a big bunch of black hair not flushed; it was a rather disgusting moment). From that, I assume the cleaning wasn't done properly after previous guests, or it was the cleaner's black hair all around. The photo with the hair was sent to the host (plus a photo of my own hair that is completely different color). The host reported that he will check the quality of the cleaning agency they use. - No kettle to prepare tea; I had to boil water in the pan. The system to switch on the stove was complicated, and I had to disconnect the fridge from electricity each time I needed to boil the water, and then connect fridge again. There was no warning/information about this whole situation beforehand. - Generally, in Pietra Ligure I could hardly find a tasty and pleasant place to eat. Most places in Google Maps have bad reviews, and others where I had hopes - in practice were upsetting. The ice-cream place next to the apartment is good though. Next to the apartment, there is a bigger grocery shop; it was ok/useful.
