The Globe Inn

Great location.

A bit pricey for what it was, no privacy for the bath and minimal for the toilet! You have to be very comfortable with your other half!!

When I arrived I realised that the beautiful Inn was double storey and our room was upstairs. My sister was unable to climb the stairs. I should have asked for a downstairs room. A beautiful garden room was supplied and a solution to beds was found. We felt welcome and looked after. Thankyou Anastasia and Charles.

Beautiful old building, lovely host and tea and coffee making facilities provided in a lovely sitting room and balcony. The room is in period style and spacious. We had a dog travelling with us and that all went well. Right in the centre of town and on street parking directly out front. I would stay here again

I found the bed too soft but that might be my personal preference.

The building was lovely, and was very close to town. There was a 'common' lounge room with coffee machine & balcony, garden to sit in and lots of seating places. Plenty of parking and easy to access.

The rooms were very cold. Kind of expect that with the age of the property, but the heating was a little inadequate and the electric blankets on the bed didn't work. We tried calling the number on the front door (no information could be found in room) but nobody answered. Saw the owner when we arrived and again in the morning, but saw absolutely nobody else in the days of our stay. Very odd! Very disappointed there were lots of comments about a lovely breakfast, but it wasn't until we booked we received a note to say they no longer provide breakfast. couldn't find anything about connecting to free wi-fi.
