Fantastic apartment, newly and tastefully refurbished, full of light, with floor heating. It is located in Dorcol, close to bars, cafes, restaurants and numerous 24/7 mini supermarkets. The hosts are extremely nice and welcoming, we were treated like family from the day one. Alltogether, an unforgettable experience. Would definitely stay here again, and an easy recommendation!

N.A.

The apartment is in a lively neighborhood, with lots of restaurants. It’s in an older building and has recently been remodeled, it looks just like the pictures. It’s on the first floor, and while there is an elevator, there are about 6 steps to get to it. Check-in was easy, the apartment key is in a lock box and there is a code for the front door. The living area has a large, comfortable couch, there’s a large smart TV and very fast internet. The bedrooms are kinda small but adequate, with dressers, nightstands and electrical outlets. The beds are comfortable, with several pillows. The windows are double pained and keep out most of the noise. (You’ll still need earplugs on the weekends.) They have darkening shutters and most of them have screens. All of the rooms have air conditioning which works very well. The bathroom and the shower are very small. If you’re a larger person, this probably wont work for you. He provided plenty of toilet paper and lots of various toiletries. Note: the water heater is on a light switch by the bathroom lights, don’t turn that off. The kitchen is very small but surprisingly useful, we cooked many of our meals at home. He supplied some basics, coffee/tea, sugar/milk, oil/salt/pepper. It was very nice to make coffee the next morning without having to first go buy stuff. Note that the listing is incorrect and there isn’t a microwave. Our host Bata was great to work with. Great communication and took care of all of our needs. Sent us a video so we knew how to find the building and get the keys.

Unfortunately, it is not a smoke free apartment. The neighbor’s bathroom window opens into this apartment and she’s a heavy smoker. I asked her to close her window and she wont, so you get all of her smoke (and bathroom activity). And if you’re a larger person, you’ll have difficulties with the shower and the kitchen.
