The accommodation was beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and adequate kitchen facilities with space for congregating. It was very close to the train station. Fabio was very helpful in the lead up to our arrival and we were able to use the garden area after check out time while we waited for transport to the port. Air conditioning worked well and we were able to find a comfortable temperature, although it wasn't too hot outside during our stay. The apartments are very close to a supermarket. Good sized rooms.
We walked from the train station with suitcases and Google maps took us up and down multiple flights of stairs. Wished we hadn't done that!

My host, Fabio, was welcoming and helpful. He drove to Fiumicino airport to get me and arranged a transfer for me to the Cruise Port (both moderate charges). Excellent location with the town and the waterfront within minutes. There is also a supermarket almost next door. If you are staying for a while there is a simple kitchen available for use.
If you are going on a cruise, do not be tempted to try and walk to the ship. The port is large and not pedestrian friendly.
The only thing I would say against the place is about the 2 or 3 steps from the front door to the first level of rooms (Fabio carried my case for me, but be warned if you have a very heavy suitcase). There is also no lift, so if you have much luggage you might want to request a room on the lower floor (my room was on the lower floor but I can't remember if that was just good fortune)

The location is perfect, the host is friendly and helped us with transportation too.
We were three families, and we loved staying in the same place with shared space in addition to our private rooms.
