Four Points by Sheraton Tequendama, Bogota

El desayuno es excepcional.

A los recepcionistas (hombres) les falta ser más amables.

The rooms were beautifully decorated. The hotel itself was in good condition and had good facilities. Breakfast was very good also.

The only thing that let the property down was the pool/jacuzzi. It didn’t look like the pool area was maintained during the day. Both the jacuzzi and pool had many dead flies in the water. Also, there was no obvious way to turn the jacuzzi jets on. I thought if the water was agitated then Maybe the flies would be filtered out of the water. It was too disgusting to use really though. I did manage to use the pool.

Primero el recepcionista Jesús nos dio una cálida bienvenida y nos dio la oportunidad de acceder más temprano a la habitación, todo el personal en general increíble atención, pero sin duda el desayuno se llevó todo el reconocimiento, la comida local espectacular, además que el personal amablemente nos explicó todo, el servicio en general increíble.

La zona no se siente muy segura, pero esto no corresponde al hotel.

The reception staff was attentive and well mannered but disconnected with the cleaning crew and room services to ensure service quality across guest services.

The breakfast menu was the same everyday for 19 days. The cooks were inexperienced and so were the waiters rotating them from bad to worst without adult supervision. Dining was Asian-Peruvian focused only using MSG without exceptions for MSG allergic guests. No other dining restaurants were functioning. The sauna was not working and the whirlpool was always overfilled. The access to the main entrance was blocked by hotel taxi drivers and the internal access to the hotel were locked on weekends forcing a walkaround the property to enter the hotel. Handicap guests were challenged with these inconveniences and the staircases to move around. This downtown location did not help given safety concerns.
