Very clean, very modern fitout and fully equipped with everything you need for a few days. Three flights of stairs to get there is easy enough if you’re fit and able.
Unfortunately what we thought was a pantry cupboard right next to the kitchen sink was the one and only toilet, so make sure you are travelling with people you are comfortable about sharing intimate spaces. Just a warning, and of course I understand it that there are obvious limitations to renovations given the age of the building.

Absolutely perfect location for a stay in Amboise. Easy walk to restaurants, cafes and bars. Quiet at night despite being on a main road. Having a washing machine was a nice bonus. Communication with hosts was easy and timely and we very much appreciated the early check in!
There is a communal outdoor patio with furniture and cushions for added comfort; however, during the four days we stayed, the area was not cleaned or swept and looked uninviting and dirty, so unfortunately we were not able to enjoy it. Also, we were able to find parking in a lot across the street each day, but during high season, this could be an issue.
