The location was great, high on a hill overlooking the town and a small part of the lake. The property has recently refurbished the bathroom for the room we stayed in, so the bathroom facilities were great. The owners were very friendly and welcomed us warmly.
The room had a musky smell and the carpet seemed to have suffered some water staining. The electricity cables looked frightening, so many extension cables and double adapters, but everything worked.

excellent location , plus very quiet, grid floor unit had vg access, large living dining kitchen , plus pantry, large bedroom with ex en-suite and laundry facilities

Lovely bathroom with good facilities, welcoming hosts
Not sure it was clear the room was inside the hosts home. Stairs to room were spiral and narrow making it very difficult to transport suitcases up. Kitchenette very basic, no sink facilities or hob. Eg expected to be able to cook pasta but this was not an option. No way to lock room, as no lock on inside or key for room at all. Even staying in someone’s home I would expect to be able to lock the door for privacy.
