Antrim House by Totalstay

The place was good, nothing much to complain about. It's not as close as I'd have wanted it to be to the beach and CBD. The food was good, although pricey for the amount of food you get. The rooms were nice clean and comfortable, stuff are welcoming.

The staff, the location and excellent experience overall. Cooks are special mention. Receptions guys were outstanding.

The location worked well for the meetings I had scheduled. I liked that I didn't need to leave the property to have dinner in the evenings.

There was a cold breeze coming from the bathroom ceiling. There were no extra warm blankets in the room. There is no way to contact reception once you are in your room. I needed a hairdryer so had to walk down to breakfast with wet hair looking like a wet dog and ask for a hairdryer. When I finally had the hairdryer there was no where to plug it in that is close to the mirror (or any reflective surface....) I enjoyed both breakfast and dinner at the restuarant, and noticed that for some odd reason the plates don't get cleared from the table, they just set their for as long as you are at the table.... I also only received 1 bottle of water for my entire 3 night stay, you don't have to give a fresh bottle of water but perhaps have a reusable bottle in the room with a central place to refil as and when needed? The basin in the bathroom is really small- which I understand, you have a small place to work with, but it's so small that I couldn't wash my face without messing water all over the floor. Lastly there was an extention cable running from the fridge to the opposite side of the room to connect the fridge to power. It wasn't secured in any way making it a tripping hazard.

Breakfast was very nice and the hotel was in a nice location

The room was really small—too small, in our opinion. We could barely open our luggage properly, which made the room feel quite cramped. The walls were also very thin, so we could hear other guests quite clearly. Another issue was the windows. They weren’t properly covered, so outside lights were shining into the room at night, and the early morning light came in as well. It would definitely help if they invested in better curtains or window coverings. Overall, these things made it difficult to get a comfortable and restful night’s sleep.
