The snug is us in a beautiful setting close to Ullswater Lake amd Penrith. The snug is positioned to be able to watch the most amazing sunsets and you are able to gaze at the stars. The snug has everything needed for a cosy stay.
The only slight issue was the WiFi was a little inconsistent however if honest the location, view and the peacefulness more than make up for it.

Very snug, facilities were great, especially the bed and pillows were of the best I’ve ever slept in also the heating was lush and the outdoor seating area was great with a view. The dogs and horses were lovely to be around. Michelle was a great host lovely and helpful.
The shower was a bit hit a miss but got it working eventually ( you’ll have to find your sweet spot) the WiFi was a bit here and there but got it working in the end

Me and my partner loved the horses and the 2 dogs they were lovely to be around
One of the dogs seemed a bit run down and slightly unkempt it did make me and my partner a bit concerned however we do understand that it’s a farm and animals can get roughed up pretty easily there however couldn’t hurt giving her a bath and trimming her nails every now and then

The location is beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The shepherd’s hut was comfortable and well-equipped, with nice modern touches like the thermostat. The bed was very comfy, and the kitchenette was a great size.
While everything was generally good, a little more attention to detail with cleaning would make the experience even better. That said, it didn’t take away from what was otherwise a relaxing and pleasant stay.
