Tam Coc Horizon Retreat

The reviews do not lie and we were also questioning if it can be true but the location the quietness and the service is truly exceptional. It was the highlight of our whole Vietnam trip!

Anna, Hai and Tony and the rest of the staff were the best hosts we could ever ask for. They spoiled us with great care and looked after our laundry, booked a fantastic tour for us, gave us hot foot soaks each evening, supplied bicycles for us to use for the day, beautiful breakfasts and dinner. Our accommodation, with 2 adults and 2 children, had plenty of room, a/c, big beds, balconies, and amenities. The pool was a beautiful way to finish off the day. We were so happy to be the first diners in the new dining/restaurant area which was under construction when we arrived and we were offered the first table when it opened for breakfast on our final morning.

We planned to stay one night and ended up staying three - that says everything. The service here is on another level: when we headed out early for a tour, the staff packed us a breakfast to take along, and when we arrived late after a long drive, they kept the restaurant open just for us. Countless small gestures like these made us feel truly looked after. Highly recommended - we would come back without hesitation

One small note: some guests got quite loud in the pool, and I wish the staff had stepped in - I ended up having to say something myself. A minor point in an otherwise perfect stay

The hotel is amazing!! The staff were incredible, Nice and helpful. The rooms and public spaces were clean, breakfast was rich and the free bikes we took were in good condition. Highly recommended
