Immaculate, newly renovated pub with charm and warmth in character- both the rooms and staff. Gorgeous breakfast and friendly staff. We would definitely return when visiting friends locally. Thank you.

I think the food was a bit pricey. But otherwise excellent quality.

We were going to a wedding and had lots of clothes to hang. The rooms lacked space to hang for multiple outfits / shirts etc and the one place for shorter outfits had the only full length mirror behind it. So couldn’t use the mirror if other outfits were hanging. Adding a full length mirror in a more lit up area of the room would improve this situation. The choice of food for evening meal was set 2 or 3 course only. If one course was offered we would’ve eaten at The Castell

Bit of a curate’s egg - good in parts. Cooking could be a bit over fussy but otherwise good.

No reserved parking at all for guests - and it could be quite a challenge to find a parking spot in unfamiliar back streets. Overcooked pastries at breakfast time.
