Great location, very close to Florence’s historic center. We could walk to the Duomo, Piazza Michelangelo, Ponte Vecchio, and other attractions. The central train station is only about 500 meters away, so don’t take a taxi — it’s an easy walk. We took one and paid €22, which was far too much for such a short distance. The accommodation was clean, well prepared for guests, and provided fresh bed linen and towels. Supermarkets, restaurants, and tourist attractions were all within walking distance. Overall, a very practical and convenient stay.

A few things could be improved. The accommodation is on an upper floor with no elevator, which can be difficult when traveling with children or elderly guests. We also had some difficulty opening the main entrance and the second door. There is a specific way to hold or handle the doors, but it wasn’t immediately clear. After figuring it out, it was fine. Unfortunately, we had no Wi-Fi during our entire stay. We also found it difficult to figure out how to turn off the heater, as it wasn’t intuitive. It would be helpful to have a clear sign indicating which switch or outlet controls it, especially on very hot days.

The flat is perfect, really lovely rooms and very close to everything

Sadly the street the flat is on is very noisy during night time and early hours. Drunk groups of people constantly throughout the night woke us both up, up to 3am one night. Our last day we actually finished early to go back and nap and we were very tired it did affect our trip. The flat is great but even with ear plugs the noise on the street may keep you up. Could do with a manual to let people know the shutters outside the flat can close so the bedrooms are dark at night. Took us a day to figure this out.
