The property is a basement and is not "fancy" like other properties, but the price is very fair and reflects that. The pictures were accurate and the property was clean. There was some noise from above but it was very minimal and not bothersome at all. The host was amazing, responsive, and very helpful and even helped us with a car rental. Check in was smooth and easy.

Everything was as advertised

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was simple, clean, and comfortable. The neighborhood felt safe, and it was easy to call Uber for rides. LIRR access was also convenient, which made traveling to New York City and Stony Brook very manageable. The highlight was the beautiful backyard, which made the place feel relaxing.

Overall clean space and super easy check in/out. Location is on a quiet street/neighborhood which is nice. Not full a/c in rooms but had two floor fans; was hot in summertime but manageable for a short stay. Had a nice deadbolt on door to lock it. Awkward entrance as you go through the back of the house and all the way around the property, but it isn't terrible. A bit of a dead zone for Verizon but T-mobile was OK; Wi-Fi was available which was needed. Good for easy overnight stay and cheaper compared to hotels in the area.
