The apartment was tidy and clean, and the beds were comfy. We had a nice view from the balcony.

The only slight downside was having to turn on the boiler before showering and letting it run for about 20 mins. Also, we had trouble accessing the property as the code for the pedestrian gate did not work, so we had to use the car gate. Even after contacting the host for the new code, it still didn’t work. The kitchen bin also smelt really bad and needed a clean.

O apartamento era grande e estava muito bem equipado, tinha tudo o que precisávamos. Além disso, a pressão de água no chuveiro era boa e as camas eram confortáveis. Cheirava muito bem no apartamento e estava limpo. A Abi também era muito atenciosa. Se voltarmos a York, sem dúvida vamos voltar a ficar lá.

Estava tudo ótimo.

The apartment looked clean and comfortable upon arrival I didn't have long to really take much in as my taxi was due to go to a friend's party quite soon after I arrived as getting in the apartment took time with gate entry codes,main door code and key box ones .

I followed the instructions sent through booking.com by the owners but hadn't hot water for a bath waited much longer than 10mins more like 45mins ended up boiling water 10 or 12 kettles in the end enough to get the bath hot enough with what water I had run in the bath that wasn't hot enough to sit in,I needed it hot as was in pain it didn't help my pain having to go back and forth with kettles also the plug wouldn't come out of the bath I got it out after about 10 tries was told it can be tricky after I messaged for help,it wasn't very hot in the apartment either I turned the radiators up full was asked to turn the heating off during the night to save them money but I wasn't asleep couldn't do wasn't warm enough the microwave roof inside was filthy from previous guests ,I had no sleep due to noise next door came in number 8 I think at 3am shouting etc sounded drunk?people still walking outside singing, shouting etc at 4.30am , I couldn't watch TV as it was changed to foreign language there was only 1 apart from 1 on the floor behind it ?the keys were in a lock box in the carpark had a code to open the gate so isn't given you long to enter I struggled with the lockbox too it was inches from the ground and I struggle to bend there was a car in the parking space near the lock boxes making it even harder to see the numbers and use the key box being rather lowest level as there are others above it,I also have arthritis so getting it to lign up others might find it easier than I did.I had to lay down when I got home was in pain and exhausted hard by public transport as I used to get there each way was over 20miles!!possibly not the correct place for me it didn't work out as expected for me.
