Perfect location an a very kind and welcoming host. We were also provided with useful information and material about the area. Staying here gives you the full experience of living in the Sassi, which was truly unique and memorable.
There were some issues with humidity. The dehumidifiers helped, but they were quite noisy and made it difficult to sleep comfortably during the night. We also found the mattress of the sofa bed rather uncomfortable. It would also be a nice addition to have a few basic breakfast items available.
Overall, it's a great way to experience the Sassi.

Our host Francesco was wonderful. We arrived by train and he came and picked us up as the property is up a hill. He was really helpful with advice on what to do and where to visit in Tropea. Francesco also dropped us off back at the train station when we left. The apartment has a fantastic terrace with the best view ever over Tropea.
We chose not to rent a car, so had to taxi back to the property from central Tropea.

Location typique en plein cœur de Matera. Conforme à l’annonce. Très bon accueil et hôte sympathique.

Excellent location. Liked the quirkiness of the Sassi.
There was a slightly musty smell in the cave.
