Absolutely everything about this cottage was spot on, nothing was to much trouble from start to finish, it was more than home from home, it was a dream of somewhere I would love to retire too, it was quiet but if you wanted the hussle and bustle of near by paighton beach it was 15 minutes on the hourly bus if you didn't want the hassle of parking, the recommendations of takeaways were amazing we had the Chinese twice on our weeks stay and eat at the church inn pub twice which was also delicious, This place is truly a hidden Gem in the beautiful town of Marldon, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.

From the very start of the process(making the booking) to the very end. Firstly I'd like to thank the owners for allowing my reactive dog to accompany me. I initially phoned and spoke to the owners after I made the booking reservation and explained my dogs needs and the owners and they very kindly still allowed him to come along anyway. I'm super greatful. Secondly the accommodation is absolutely stunning, you enter via the back door(only door which you enter through the garden at the rear) its simple decor, large living space, large double bedroom with super comfortable bed, mattess and pillows were hotel quality. The shower water pressure was amazing! All the further was clean and comfortable. Not one spec of dust anywhere and it smelt lovely. The little homely touches such as welcome packs of bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, fresh flowers, fairy liquid, spare bin bags, tea towels, toiletries and face cloths. Also a hamper for the dogs with small blanket and towel, tennis ball, treats and bowls was so cute. Felt like bowl stand was the only thing that was missing for the dogs. Little touches such as a welcome card, keyring pen and bottle opener and some devon fudge also, these really did make this stay extra special. Even the tv has netflix set up! Thirdly the garden space! This was a huge worry for me bringing a reactive dog that needs secure space. The garden wasn't fully what I was expecting in terms of secure as the garden has a sloped verge near the exit gate which means the dogs could escape over the top(which they didn't) also the bottom of the garden was a small 3ft fence which leads to the shared garden space and pool again not 100% secure for big dogs however I was already aware of this and used long lines and leads whilst in the garden(couldn't leave dogs unattended in the garden) whilst this wasn't the best it also wasn't a deal breaker and we made the best out of it.

Just the garden not being 100% secure (again I knew before booking) if it was it would have been the perfect stay.

Everything! Comfort, location, cleanliness, amenities, welcome package! Cannot fault one thing.
