The bed mattresses were VERY comfortable and firm. The layout of the bedrooms and the bathrooms was great. Plenty of room to spread out all over the house both upstairs and downstairs. Clean, pretty much all of the kitchen implements you needed were provided - including a coffee grinder and coffee filters ( a definite plus for our caffeine addicted family!). The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Plenty of street parking. Perfect distance from the wedding events that we attended that weekend. Provided a great location for our family to relax together - we were very busy with the wedding so were sad that we didn't get to spend more time together in this house. Also, the host was very accommodating about letting us enter earlier. It would have been completely acceptable if it could not work out but it did and we were very grateful for that. Finally, the value for price was excellent - so much better than booking multiple rooms in a hotel.

The pillows were a bit soft. We would have liked a drain board to dry some of the dishes we handwashed. The TV remote didn't have working batteries and despite having extra double AA batteries we needed AAA batteries. The manager responded immediately to our text and sent via Amazon within a couple of hours, but for us it was too late to make use of it since by then we needed to depart for an event. But these are just really nit-picky things. The host was always quickly responsive to any messages/questions.

Great location with lots of beds and bedrooms.

Sheer window coverings in a master bedroom make it a fishbowl at night. Recommend replacing the window treatments so at least the bedrooms have privacy. Also the bare minimum of kitchen wares. If a group planned to cook and possibly store food, that would be challenging at this location.

The Sonoma Grape Escape was a great house, lots of room and in a quiet neighborhood.
