The mondrian was great and Penny was amazing! The facilities and room were beautiful and the staff in the hotel were really great and helpful

The cleaners didn't speak english, so they were hard to communicate with. Also this doesnt technically have anything to do with the hotel stay, however we had a lunch at Haven. The food was fine, however the staff were quite rude, not all the staff, all the ladies we dealt with me amazing, however the men, were rude and made us feel like a burden and we definitely didnt have the experience we thought we would.

The experience was very clinical. I was chased before arriving to spend more on upgrades etc.. I have never experienced this with 5 star before and this continued during our stay. The service experience was patchy at best with a general lack of customer service skills displayed throughout. There was no familiarity at all, no one knew your name even though we stayed there for 5 days. For the price of the stay the experience was very disappointing and I would not recommend or return. They could learn some things by observing other like hotels who focus on creating memorable experiences.
