First and last booking with booking.com

I never got into my room, so nothing

Advertised as a hotel, this is a terrible Airbnb at best. No check in instructions, I had to call the property owner, to find the booked room unavailable. Owner had a tenant trying to convince me to stay at another of his properties at 1 in the morning.altogether an unpleasant experience, and my first with booking.com, it will also be my last.

Well I never got instructions for my stay before arriving the at arrival spent an hour and a half trying to get ahold of someone to figure out how to get in. Booking.com was able to get ahold of the owner to reach out only to find out the address in the listing was not where we needed to go and he directed me to a different home at arrival the first room was a mess and full of clutter and he directed me and my 11year old son to a room in the basement that we opened to a couple in bed together. He then tried to negotiate us going to another of his properties to stay which we declined and stayed elsewhere!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I"ll never use booking.com again or Abo Eman's listings.

Nothing about this place was even close to as advertised. No sheets, no linens, it was in a basement with no egress. There was a stove in the middle of the basement. There were no towels or washcloths in bathroom. It was a bare mattress with a lightweight cover over it. This host was renting every room in the house - lots of noise. No refunds - BOOKING.COM needs to check on who lists with them. This was horrendous. The simple things like, does it meet code? Is it safe? Is it clean? None of which were met. No sheets was the final straw. Bare mattress.

No sheets, it was in the basement with no egress. It was advertised as a nice room. The house had a beat up couch when you walked in. The refrigerator was out and leaking liquid in the kitchen. The front door was wide open. We were met by a woman who spoke little english and was on the phone with Eman Abo the host. We waited 20 minutes to be shown the room. The woman had to go to a neighbors house to get a key to the room in the basement. We saw the room and asked where the sheets were. We were willing to make up the bed ourselves. Eman the host who was on the phone said the cleaning person didn't return them and that he would give us our money back all I had to do was sign up for Zelle. We chose not to stay there and get a refund from the host. However, I signed up for Zelle the next day, called him and he wouldn't refund our money. After at least 10 calls to him, numerous text messages and calls to booking.com, he never returned our money $108.78. He insists that he is in Egypt and will refund our money but hasn't. He first said Booking.com had to refund our money. Called booking.com and they said Eman Abo had to refund it. It was a constant loop of lies between he said she said and we never did recieve a refund for a place we didn't stay because 1) no sheets or pillow cases 2) no egress out of the basement in case of fire, 3) sketchy area of town. I wish I had taken photos of this place. No one should stay here. NO one should ever book a place that says no refunds. There is a reason for that. Complete scam. In addition the guy called us 2 times as we were driving 30 minutes to get there saying we needed to hurry or someone else was going to take it. We had already paid for it. He over booked the room. Three other people were waiting for their rooms to be assigned. This was a house in a sketchy part of town. It was 10:00pm when we got there and 2 others had already been waiting for a room as well.
