Sleeps 8. Recently converted spacious single storey barn with four bedrooms and full wheelchair access. Located in a rural position on the Shropshire border between Clun and Bishops Castle. Furnished to a high standard, with two king sized bedrooms each with their own large en suite wet rooms, a third king sized bedroom and a single bedroom with an additional pull out bed, sharing a separate wet room. Open plan kitchen/lounge with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, freezer, TV, free WiFi, wood burner, BBQ and many thoughtful extras. Set in beautiful, peaceful surroundings with lawns leading to a stream, Alder Barn has a tranquillity that is addictive.

Absolutely beautiful spacious cottage for 8 of us and 2 dogs outdoor area so big for the children and dogs to play, it was so clean and had everything we needed.

Very clean and comfortable, wonderful setting, owls, bats, red kites, buzzards, deer, butterflies. Highly recommended.

We travelled to England to celebrate our daughter’s birthday, and wanted a place to get away that was accessible. The cottage was perfect for us, we loved the countryside and the peaceful luxuries in the cottage. Matt was a wonderful host, providing us with good local food suggestions as well as some fresh food staples when we arrived.
We also appreciated all the literature about the surrounding areas. We would definitely return if we can, as it is really well set up and laid out for anyone.
We highly recommend staying here.
