Discover the ultimate coastal retreat with this idyllic 3 bedroom rental home. Walk across the grassy lawn to hear the crackling surf. Have you heard the ocean crackle as the waves come in and out on the rounded ocean rocks? It crackles!! You can actually hear it from the house and the fire pit at the end of the lawn as well. Enjoy the well equipped and open home while relaxing on the spacious deck in the serenity of the sunset. It is truly a special place for your perfect Maine vacation.
Embrace nature with the proximity to Schoodic Point, Acadia National Park, many local trails, lakes and adventures. Local produce stands, lobster pounds, restaurants and shops in the area add to the experience of Maine, the way life should be!
Main floor:
Open kitchen with an island, Viking range, large refrigerator and all of the kitchen appliances you could need to make meals at home. The dining room table has a cool candle chandelier and a view of the oceanfront.
There is a large living room with a vaulted ceiling and access to the spacious deck. The library is connected to the living room, but has doors for the privacy to work or read from the extensive library of books.
There is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower on this floor!
Second floor:
The main queen bedroom an an oceanfront view, walk in closet, and an en suite bathroom.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, with plenty of storage and natural light.
Walk out basement:
Third bedroom has a screened in porch with a water view.
Washer/dryer is in the laundry room and available for the guests use.
Children 10 and over are allowed, due to the many decks and the waterfront property. There is not direct water access at this property. Sand Cove Beach is close by!
Schoodic Point is 10 miles
Winter Harbor restaurants, grocery store, shops and the ferry to Bar Harbor is 7 miles
Bar Harbor and Acadia National park are 30 miles away.

Very peaceful and quiet. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the surf. Immaculate and clean. Comfortable beds. Close to Acadia Schoodic.

What a beautiful special place, away from all the crowds! We spent most all of our time there on the Schoodic side of Acadia and enjoying the property in the backyard. The magical sound of the waves crashing against the smooth rocks was ethereal. Would come back 1,000 times.

Beautiful Home, could use some ceiling fans to be more comfortable. The Home does not have air-conditioning so plan your trip accordingly. To get down to the water, you must climb down a small cliff… The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed, but the third base ment bedroom was extremely musty, but at least cool since it was a heat wave when we stayed. A little noisy also, with having to keep the dehumidifier running right near the bed.
