Welcome to your new favourite family friendly holiday home in Barbados! Conveniently located just 2 mins from the beach and the amenities of the beautiful historic Speightstown, Chindwin is a spacious vacation rental which features a massive private backyard with a large pool. Our home is ideal for large families or big groups of friends looking to explore Barbados from a classic Bajan home.
The ground floor features a generous living, dining, and fully-equipped kitchen area leading to the open patio with an additional dining area and our very well-loved table tennis table. This floor also has a separate TV room which leads to a bedroom that opens up onto the patio. This bedroom has an adjacent bathroom. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a king-size bed and balcony with partial ocean views. There is also one king size bedroom and a kids room with two single beds and a bunk bed (perfect for a kids' dormitory) on this floor.Two of the bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom while the master has an en suite. All bedrooms are air-conditioned, ensuring comfort for multi-generational family holidays.
Complimentary amenities include WiFi, TV, and weekly housekeeping. Mosquito screens are on all windows. Outside, enjoy a large garden with a 24ft x 12ft swimming pool, table tennis, two kayaks, and snorkeling gear. During your stay, embrace nature with visits from the local green monkeys and nightly firefly displays. Secure private parking is available on the property.

great stay for my multi generational family of 10. house has lots of great extras such as pool toys and blender to make smoothies. pool was nice addition and kids really enjoyed but note that deep end of pool is 7 ft which was way too deep for most in our party. they stayed and played in the shallow end. the monkeys were a fun to see from time to time. always felt safe and took morning walks into town. to get fruit and the bakery. took a cab from the airport and the gps was not accurate but the taxi driver figured it out based on the pictures. the house is unique in the neighborhood so it is easy to find visually once you are in the neighborhood. we had a minor issue with the stove on our final day and the mgmt sent the property manager to address it. really appreciate the quick and responsive communication. would stay again

Its a lovely big house, perfect for a large group. The pool and garden are very private. Its about a 10 minute walk from the shops, cafes, bars, bakeries of Speightstown. We loved seeing the monkeys in the garden every morning. Its a nice, local neighbourhood and there is lots of room for parking if you have a car.

Just, wow! This house was the PERFECT place for our friend group of 5 to take a vacation to Barbados. The house itself was clean, fully equipped (down to pool noodles and card games), and super comfortable! Each bedroom had its own separate AC unit and the fans throughout the common spaces kept the airflow breezy and not too hot. Check in was super easy and painless as it was self check in. The lady that provided our cleaning during our stay was so sweet, respectful, and helpful! We had the best time swimming in the pool, playing card games around the back deck table, and enjoying our morning coffee while watching baby monkeys play in the backyard. If you’re debating whether or not to book, BOOK! You won’t regret this beautiful getaway in Barbados!
