A king bed and a kitchenette made for easy mornings, just one block from the beach. Casa 4 is one of nine casitas at Valentina Holbox, our boutique compound close to restaurants, beach clubs, bike rentals, and shops.
With over 19 years of hospitality experience, our local team is available daily from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with online guest support through Airbnb from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day.
Valentina Holbox is located halfway between the town center and Punta Cocos — a 15-minute beach walk to either one. There's a store just one block away, plus several restaurants and beach clubs nearby. The beach itself is about 30 seconds away, just a short block from your door.
Your casita is private, just for you and your guests. You'll also have access to our shared garden with hammocks and shade, through a coded entrance to the compound.
Casa 4 keeps things simple: a king bed and air conditioning in the bedroom, and a private patio just outside where you can have your coffee or unwind after a day at the beach.
Valentina Holbox was built differently than much of the island's recent development. Rather than clearing the native mangroves and trees, we built around them — a rainwater collection system, a light footprint, and a shared garden where hammocks sit among tall trees and local wildlife.
The kitchenette covers the basics — a mini-fridge, microwave, and electric oven/toaster — with restaurants and beach clubs just a short walk away for everything else. Starlink Wi-Fi keeps you connected when you need it.
A note on the neighborhood: construction on a nearby property runs Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm. We've installed sound-insulating windows to help, though some noise still carries outdoors and occasionally inside. Our rates reflect this honestly.

The island can be explored by bike, golf cart, taxi, or on foot. There is a bike rental on the corner 1 block away.
Please confirm your total guest count for accurate pricing. Electricity and phone service can occasionally be inconsistent on the island, typically returning within a few hours. After rain, sandy streets may flood — walking along the beach is usually the easier, prettier route into town.

We are very grateful for our 6 day stay in this peaceful studio. It was easy to check in and out, the kitchenette has everything (but a hot plate which we didn’t need). We appreciated a full jug of safe water, great shower, beautiful grounds with dappled shade and several hammocks. Several species of birds in the gated open tree covered area made spending time outside pleasant. We used our shaded porch a lot as well. The location was perfect walking to playa Cocoa in the west, downtown in 8 min. It was 1 min from the ocean and reg beach. Good WiFi connection. Felt extremely safe. This is a fabulous island with white sand everywhere. Highly recommend.
