O tym ten wynajem wakacyjny
Tucked away in the corner of a quiet cul de sac, Kernow House is a private retreat right in the heart of Croyde.
Making the most of the views, the living accommodation is upstairs, with views to the front across the dunes, and to the rear, over pastureland to the hills beyond. Its is also exceptionally comfortable, with plenty of space to snuggle up and watch a movie, just remember to bring the popcorn. For those winter evenings, curl up in front of the open fire with a nice glass of red and a good book, a rare indulgence.
The kitchen is separated from the main living/dining area and has everything you need for a self catering break. From here you can also access the raised external decking area, furnished with outside dining table and chairs for those warm summer evenings dining alfresco.
Additional outdoor seating is provided on the lower level patio along with a large charcoal BBQ for outdoor grilling.
With side access to the garden, you can store your boards easily, and an outdoor shower lets you wash off after an epic session in the surf. Grab a beer and a beanbag and relax in the newly landscaped gardens with astro lawn. Its a real treat.
The sleeping accommodation is located on the ground floor and comfortably accommodates 7. With a Superking bed and ensuite bathroom, the master suite is a real treat and a haven if you are seeking out some solitude.
A further double bedroom benefits from French doors leading directly to the garden with views of the hills beyond and a three berth bunk room (single bunk over double bed) is great for the kids or the additional guest. A family bathroom with shower over bath completes the downstairs accommodation.

The property is ideal for a family of our size (6 adults and one 2yr old) although we did find the bottom bunk bed too small for 2 adults - although it is listed as a double - one of us had to use the bed settee in the living room but this wasn't a major problem.Interior space was good with proper size dining table and spacious kitchen area. Garden and raised patio area is perfect with full sun most of the day but with adequate shade if needed.Evening stroll into Croyde less that 5 min walk, then back for the hot tub - perfect. We did have a minor issue with working the hot water/boiler system when we first arrived but the owners were immediately on hand and sorted it without any fuss.Communication with owners was great from initial booking to end of our stay.Only negative is that you do need to be mindful of the camp site next door. We stayed for 5 nights, the first 4 were totally peaceful - unfortunately for the last nights a large group of school children descended on the site and my god did we know about it. Despite the, I assume teachers, telling them to quieten down at 10pm, they continued well past 11pm then woke us all up just after 6am the next morning. Just grateful they didn't arrive any earlier.Obviously this is no reflection on the property owners but as a review - we have to be honest.

My son and grandsons one with girlfriend used the property and loved it, especially the benefit of having the hot tub.
