Welcome to The Oar and Fir, a serene getaway nestled within the pines and just a short distance from all the beauty that Sunriver has to offer. Recently updated with stylish modern farmhouse decor and stocked with all the extras to make your stay feel like home. Sunriver Village, the SHARC, and access to biking trails are just steps from the house. Private backyard in the woods offers incredible late-night stargazing.
The Oar and Fir is newly-renovated with all new furniture, including a large dining table for up to eight people. Relax on the comfortable sofa and chairs or treat yourself to a soak in the hot tub (professionally-cleaned between each guest's stay) after a full day of skiing or other outdoor adventures.
For parents wanting some space from their kids, or groups of friends traveling together, you’ll enjoy how the house is divided with two wings and connected with a large open-concept common space. You can easily gather together or have some quiet time apart. While staying in the oversized main bedroom, you can enjoy a soaking tub with views overlooking the peaceful pine forest.
The kitchen is fully-stocked with plenty of dinnerware, glassware, pots, pans, baking dishes and trays (even pizza trays!). Essentials like dishwashing soap, garbage bags, plastic wrap, spices, coffee and tea, hot chocolate, granola bars and condiments are well-stocked. The kitchen also has both a coffee machine and drip coffee maker, coffee grinder, Foreman grill, a milkshake blender, and a pancake griddle. Our personal favorite is the Cuisinart Convection Bread Maker (just load in your ingredients, set the timer, and wake up to fresh baked bread - Yum!)
The house is equipped with three SmartTV’s with Netflix, Amazon TV, and Fubo for sports. There's a high speed gigabit internet connection to accommodate all of your work-from-home or distant-learning needs (and it's been tested and approved by the most demanding of gamers, our son).
With families in mind, we have a Pack and Play, baby high chair, toddlers' dining set, kids' bikes, and tons of toys for you to enjoy: nerf guns, basketball, baseball, puzzles and board games. We also have two youth bikes and two bikes for adults.
We have 10 unlimited SHARC passes (passes to the Aquatic center and gym) available to our guests. The majestic Mt Bachelor with incredible skiing and mountain biking trails is 20 minutes away, and many famous fly fishing spots are also nearby.
There is an EV charger in the garage for your electric car.

This property was perfect for our active family! We really appreciated the pool passes, hot tub, and accessible garage with bikes for everyone. The development as a whole is fantastic for families, with bike and walking paths throughout. Shopping and restaurants are just down the road. We watched deer and nesting swallows from the back window, and at night, stargazing from the deck was truly amazing. We would happily book another stay!

This was the perfect get away and so comfortable! We loved that the hot tub was not super chemically smelling and was the perfect temp. So much that this property had to offer! We will be back next year!

Overall it was a decent stay. It was clean and the kitchen and rooms were well stocked with supplies. The hot tub however was an issue. Throughout the stay the hot tub temperature kept lowering and we had to call for maintenance or switch the breaker multiple times. The managers were very responsive however this did put a damper on our stay as we choose houses for their hot tub.
The listing did not mention a train near by and this did cause a disturbance for our kids sleep.
