This might be a strange review but I wanted to leave it anyway. I never actually stayed at the place because we had to cancel. We had a family issue come up and we were all disapointed we couldn't go. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to get my money refunded or that it would be a hassel. The host was extremly easy to work with. I just emailed them and everything was refunded without an issue. I really appreciate their undertanding. I'm hoping that once things settle down here I can actually go and enjoy the place next year.

Robyn:
The property was only marginally clean. Also, please be aware: the small toaster on the kitchen counter is a fire hazard. It is quite difficult to confirm when you turn it off. I had left it on and quite by chance realized it. The house is truly overstuffed with stuff that only makes it look extremely cluttered. Suggest you do a thorough de clutter of the place, especially the dozens of pillows that really don't add to any comfort and the endless nick knacks. The controls to the dishwasher are broken, one has to guess as to the cycle chosen. Could not find the switch to turn on the lights over the kitchen table. Suggest you label the switches for ease of use. On the positive side: thank you for providing linens and towels and the many other amenities (dish washing soap, etc.) Regards.
