The documenta city of Kassel and the cathedral city of Fritzlar await you in the vicinity. The Edersee, which can be reached in about 30 minutes, is also worth a visit. Our culinary specialties such as "Ahle Wurscht" and "Schmandschnitzel" are known far beyond North Hesse.
