Great vacation! The complex is clean, lots of swimming options, great for kids. We had a great time!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The beach, pools and other activities at Aquatika are great, especially for kids. The check in process was easy, and accessing the property was very straightforward. They do have a gate/ guard, and it seemed very secure.There are some animals on the property(dogs, cats, chickens), which were all friendly and harmless. The unit has updated the bedroom furniture from some of the pictures on the listing, which were nice upgrades. Beds were very comfortable. Some of the kitchen items could use replacing. Overall, this was a great stay, and I would 100% stay at this unit again.

Like many of the previous reviews, we found the condo needing major updates - peeling paint, drawer front broken, broken door handle, etc. The oven did not work and the sliding doors were difficult. The condo was functional but not exceptional.Not a lot of communication. We had no closing instructions so we did what we normally do on rentals.The dogs were no big deal - they were actually friendly.We didn't have any problem with the neighborhood and never felt uncomfortable. It was kind of cool traveling west through the neighborhoods and smelling all of the roasting food.The grounds were well kept and the pools were nice. No floating devices for the "lazy river".

Check in process was smooth, loved the complex, so many amazing things offered there and the beach access was great. Cleanliness of bathrooms and bedding was not good. There was other people hair all over in both bathrooms and other people hair in the sheets/pillow cases when we arrived. There were water issues going on, we had water the first 4 days and then didn’t have any for 2 days. I reached out to owner after 2 days of no water and he sent a message explaining and that told the times water was turned on during those 2 days (1 hour each) it would have been nice to have gotten the message sent to us sooner without having to ask so we would have known when the water was on for those one hours each day so we could’ve utilized it. The complex did have cistern tanks but they shut them off for a few days, so just be prepared you could or could not have water some of the time. Other than that it was the perfect size for a family of 8 and we enjoyed our stay.
