This is a fabulous property. Lovely location, fantastic and very helpful hostess, really comfortable and spacious. Our group of 5 loved the outdoor spaces and the sauna and cold plunge. Cyntra could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Cannot recommend Launde Barn enough - a super place to relax and recharge and close to great places to visit. Lisa & John

This was among the best places we have stayed, and would highly recommend. We will be back again with the family. Thank you for sharing your home, and pets.

We had a wonderful four night stay at Launde Barn near York, and it was everything we’d hoped for and more. The barn is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, comfortably furnished, and thoughtfully equipped with everything needed for a relaxing break. It strikes the perfect balance between rustic character and modern comfort. The location is ideal: peaceful and rural, yet close enough to York and also to the coast for easy day trips. The sauna is a lovely addition which we really enjoyed making use of.In the nearby village there is a pub that we visited for Sunday lunch. It's a short walk away from the property and the food was excellent. There is also a decent bus service from the village into York. The hosts clearly take great pride in the property. Communication was excellent from start to finish, with clear instructions and helpful local tips. It felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, and all the little details had clearly been considered.Overall, Launde Barn we had a truly relaxing and memorable short break. We strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable countryside stay near York, and we would happily return ourselves.
