Potted plants and cypres still shade VILLA CLARA from view at this former 18th Century Small Mansion gone glam in the Tuscan countryside. Lush gardens frame a sparkling pool at this restored farmhouse near Lucca, in a village known for its Camellias festival and bespoke Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Beamed ceilings, brick floors, and archways retain the original ambiance, and a dining loggia shows off the views through a parish at the top oft he hill. Cut into local produce in the bright kitchen, relax and play chess in the stone-built pool house -once a horse stable- opening onto the patio by your private swimming pool. Horseback riding, tennis, and golf are all within range.

On THE MAIN FLOOR: an indoor fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining room to seat 12 guests, another living room with TV and a french windows overlooking the garden, 2 bedrooms (1 of which with 2 twin beds) and 1 bathroom with a built in shower.
Air conditioning is provided in each single room, a very reliable wifi connection provided by the national phone company it is provided, sat tv and private parking inside the property. The Villa is located within a walking distance from restaurant and shops.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Clara in early June. Located in the scenic area of Capannori, the villa is beautifully furnished, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. Since we travelled as two couples, we chose to have a floor each, which provided excellent privacy.
In our opinion there is nothing to improve, everything was perfect.
The Highlights:
• The Outdoor Space: The outside kitchen was exceptional and fully equipped for everyday use. We loved eating at the large dining table and relaxing in the annex furniture in the evenings.
• The Pool & Gardens: The pool is outstanding, set within immaculate gardens. Luigi does a fabulous job keeping everything spotless. It was a pleasure seeing him each morning when we were up early enough!
• Location: Perfectly positioned in Colle di Compito for a relaxed, peaceful stay, yet within easy walking distance of two very friendly bars and two restaurants.
The Service:
Filippo from LAAV was amazing. He stayed in touch throughout our stay and even sent a comprehensive guide on places to visit. Both Filippo and Luigi gave us a warm welcome, explained everything clearly, and even saw us off at the end of our trip.
We would love to return and highly recommend Villa Clara to anyone!

The villa is beautifully decorated and restored. The rooms are big and have air conditioning. Wonderful outside space with pool, outdoor kitchen area and gardens. Private and quiet. Great location - close to airport and towns, and only an hour from the coast or Florence.
Lots of thought has gone into all aspects by the owner. The service we received was brilliant from start to finish. We would definitely recommend and return. Thank you Filippo and Luigi for everything.
It’s very hard to think of anything to add as a lot of thought has gone into what you might need when on holiday at the villa.
The only thing I could think of that could be helpful for families would be some plastic plates/cups for any smaller children to use. But as we’re used to travelling with a toddler we had brought our own anyway.
And maybe some larger reusable plastic cups/glasses in the outdoor kitchen for drinks by the pool. Just to reduce the risk of any breakages.

We arrived at Villa Clare to a very warm welcome from Filippo and Luigi.
From that moment on we had a specularly happy vacation.
The Villa is more beautiful than in the photographs.We spent the majority of waking hours at the pool by the fantastic outdoor kitchen dining area. Everything during our week was perfect.Very nice restaurant 5 minutes walk away and supermarket 10 minutes by car.
Lucca 20 mins, Pisa airport 30 mins.
The communication from the team at lucca apartments and villas was as always excellent and Filippo was in touch a week before we arrived to check any requirements we had.
We would highly recommend the Villas and as evidence we are returning for 10 days in September.

Beautiful property with comfortable beds and impeccably kept both inside and outside. Our family was able to properly relax and decompress at Villa Clara after long sightseeing days to nearby attractions. The property manager was in communication if needed but we didn’t have any issues!
