About the Property.
The property has been in the family since five generations. As a result of various successions it belonged to the Bardi´s a feudal and noble family of bankers relatives of the Medici´s, to then return to the Vespucci´s - descendant of the great Amerigo until 1820.
Since then, the historic estate has preserved its original wonderful characteristics and authentic Tuscan charm, whilst undergoing a complete renovation and careful restoration phase considering all modern comforts and facilities. Each room has been tastefully furnished and decorated with the finest local materials handmade by Florentine artisans.
The extensive secluded grounds ensure privacy and feature walking paths across roses and olive groves, from which excellent Olive Oil is produced every year (guests are welcome to taste it upon arrival). Perfectly kept at all times, the park offers multiple seating areas for al fresco dining and it is ideal for outdoor summer banquets.

Spreading over a surface of about 7,500 square feet, with its 7 charmingly decorated bedrooms and 8 bathrooms, the property can comfortably accomodate up to 14 guests.

The main Villa is distributed over 3 main floors (plus the basement) and can welcome up to 14 guests. Each of the Villa´s 7 double bedrooms (with the typical high ceiling) includes an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning.

The Pool Area.
The villa’s pool area is completely fenced and features a full set of sun loungers, deckchairs and umbrellas, as well as a changing room.
Being fully exposed to the sun all day, a large pergola fully furnished with a table and a fridge, is the optimal solution to keep beverages cool during the hot summer days. The size of the pool is 6 x 12m long (19.7 x 39.4 ft).
The Location.
One of the greatest assets of the villa is its location. In fact, the villa lies just about 6 miles away (approximately 15 mins by car) from the beginning of the historic center of Florence (Porta Romana square) and about 3.5 miles away from the lovely village of Impruneta, famous for its terracotta production. This allows guests to get into the heart of Florence in less than 20 minutes, while also having the chance to easily explore the Chianti region with its many wonderful villages and vineyards (among others Antinori´s wine estate is 13.4 miles away). The Chianti villages such as Greve, Panzano and Castellina in Chianti are all within an easy drive.
The Florence Airport (FLR) is about 14 miles away, while the “Santa Maria Novella” train station (Florence’s main train station) is about 7.7 miles distant.
The nearest restaurants and grocery stores are about 2.5 miles away.

Our 12 days at the Villa Le Colline was magical. Bianca was the best host I’ve ever encountered in a Vrbo. The villa is a 15th century home with updated bathrooms and air-conditioning in each room. The pool area was lovely. The outdoor pizza kitchen area was lovely. Her recommendations for chefs was outstanding. Her recommendation for a pizza cooking class was fabulous. And specially her recommendation for a driver for the week was outstanding. We never needed for anything. she was always there. I highly recommend this villa if you plan to stay around the Florence area.

What a wonderful Villa! Our Family of 12 had such a terrific time! The Villa was so well appointed even down to the small details. Nothing is overlooked. Bianca, the host was the very best. She helped us find Chefs and we had the most wonderful meals.WE will return and WE highly recommend!

My extended family stayed for a week while celebrating our niece’s wedding, and it was the perfect home base. Bianca greeted us with her mother’s homemade apple pie, fresh pesto, and a tour of their beautiful historic home. The villa is thoughtfully equipped with every modern convenience while still preserving its timeless charm—you truly feel transported to another era.There were 11 of us, and we enjoyed cooking dinner together several nights in the well-stocked kitchen, as well as hiring one of the recommended chefs for a special evening meal. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to local grocery stores, the town of Impruneta, and Florence.We couldn’t have asked for a more welcoming host or a more memorable experience. Highly recommend!
