Welcome to Casa de la Vista, your private beachfront home in an exclusive, upscale area of the Placencia Peninsula. The home blends comfort with Caribbean charm and amazing ocean and mountain views. Upstairs is the main, light filled, open living area along with 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths and a fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the mesmerizing ocean views from each of the living areas as well as the outdoor veranda which runs the length of the house overlooking your private beach and ocean. French Doors lead from the Living Room and Master Bedroom to the large covered veranda. From the veranda is a spiral staircase leading to a private rooftop deck with beautiful 360 degree views of the Caribbean sea, 20 islands, the back-bay, Mayan mountains and stunning sunsets.
This is the most beautiful area of the Peninsula and is conveniently located just a mile north of Maya Beach where you will find groceries, great restaurants and bars. We are away from the noise and dust of Placencia Village but it is an easy drive down the main paved road to the Village where you will find numerous great shops, restaurants, beach bars, vegetable stands and live music.
Swim, snorkel, beachcomb or relax in the pool or a hammock on the deck - all available here at your vacation home. We have paddeboards and bikes to enhance your beach vacation. Belize is an amazing natural wonder with the 2nd largest barrier reef in the world. Exceptional diving, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, bird watching, kayaking, Mayan ruins, cave tubing, zip lining, jungle hikes and waterfalls as well as cave spelunking. Our local Manager can be your tour guide or setup your excursions to Monkey River, the ATM cave, deep-sea fishing, zip lining, diving and snorkeling tours. What an awesome place to call home for a week! Plenty of space for our family of 4 (kids 16 and 11), fully stocked kitchen with any utensil or dish you would need, lots of bath and pool towels, and quiet at night with just the sound of the waves. Our family took full advantage of the various patio spaces, pool, cornhole set, large red paddle boards, kayak, and had delicious mango from the front tree. The home was very clean, everything easy to find, and the local property manager, Leo, was super responsive.

My husband and I booked this beautiful home for our 10 year anniversary trip to Belize. We loved everything about our stay here. Christine and Leo made everything so easy, we felt well prepared and had good communication and lots of knowledge from them before we even arrived in Belize. The house had beautiful views and Belizean style which was different than the surrounding homes. The pool was a perfect cool down spot on hot and sunny days. The rooms were nice and cool at night which made sleeping extra comfortable. They had everything we needed to prepare meals at home and even some delicious smoothies with fresh local fruit. Leo helped us coordinate a private dinner at the house for our anniversary as well as getting my husband the name of a local shop to rent a fishing pole. Tons of towels and coolers for beach days too. We would absolutely love to come back here with our kids in the next year or two. The location was quite and perfect. A quick drive towards Placencia and you have tons of restaurants, bars and shopping. You are also 20 minutes from Maya World Adventures which has an amazing waterfall. Don't hesitate if this place is open, just book it!

Casa de la Vista was everything that it claims to be and more! This house was beautiful inside and outside. While the inside was surprisingly smaller than you would expect by the looks of the house, it was everything that we needed and well appointed and comfortable (great A/C Units). Five adults stayed here and it never felt at all crowded. What really makes this house standout is the outside spaces- Five different deck/patio/sitting areas and that doesn't even include the beach! We took advantage of every single one of them every day! My favorite was the very top deck where you could watch the 5:30 sunrise and there was always a nice breeze up there. We also used the paddle boards and kayaks, corn hole and the BBQ! Leo was fantastic and helped us plan the highlight of our trip a day of snorkeling and island hopping! From a location standpoint, you cannot easily walk to anything, but great restaurants and a well appointed grocery store were only five miles away. The Placencia Village was about a 20 minute drive (I would not want to do it in a golf cart, but I did see lots of people doing it). We rented a car and drove from Belize City to San Ignacio, to Maya Beach. Lovely scenery, nice roads, and we always felt safe - watch the speed bumps, they are no joke! At any rate, look no further- book Casa de la Vista! It is perfect in every way and exactly what tropical beach holiday dreams are made of!
