Come stay in beautiful lake front Kirkland Washington. Very unique home is walking distance to all you can enjoy. No need for a car.. in fact just jump on the bus and you will be in Seattle with all it has to offer as well. Grand piano if you play!!
The space
Known as the "Tree House" as it is surrounded by large cedar trees that reach high into the sky. A nice large deck offers a gas barbecue and relaxation as you enjoy playing the grand piano. Internet is ready and Netflix is at your fingertip. Walk into town and enjoy Theater, Library, Dining, Live Music.... oh yes bring your suit if you are a swimmer, plenty of city lake front parks to use. If you get the itch to head into Seattle, walk 4 blocks to the transit station and let them do the driving. You deserve a nice time, so I do my best to lay the foundation for that......... Enjoy!

An entire separate cozy house is yours from the large peaceful deck with gas BBQ to the inviting living room with cathedral ceilings and hardwood floors. If you are so inclined, please enjoy the grand piano waiting for your talent. This very unique home offers 1 separate bedroom with a connected bathroom. Swing open the french doors and bring in the outdoors while preparing a meal or just sipping a glass a wine. Large screen TV and internet are all at your hand. Don't forget to take a leisurely stroll down to beautiful Lake Washington. On your way back home have a desert at one of the many restaurants or maybe catch a movie at the theater. Plenty of live music can be found as well. No doubt you will have an adventure to be never forgotten!!!!!!

Someone put a lot of thought into building this as a studio apartment above another space. It was clean and cozy and decorated with musical instruments. There is a stereo that looks like someone walked out and forgot it, along with their CD collection, around 2005. That was a blast from the past, but not very useful. It would be great for an individual or couple, but there is only one bed, so I don't recommend this for a family. There were three air mattresses in a closet, but one was torn, and another had a slow leak. We made it work and left notes reporting the issues.
It probably said it in the listing, but I was surprised there was no AC, not even a portable unit. It wasn't too hot, so we did ok, but if you get in late on a summer evening, it will be challenging to cool it off. During cooler times of the year, that won't matter. The owners would do well to invest in a mini-split heat pump to keep the space consistent and comfortable year-round.
My other feedback is that it felt disorganized. I think the cleaner does a good job, but someone needs to occasionally "reset" it, as it was disorganized with strange odds and ends in closets and cabinets. All things considered, that's a minor issue and I write it here to be helpful more than to complain.
