The Little Paddle is a 1940’s tropical beach home just moments away from the beach, boardwalk, lake, and state park!
This cozy coastal design and creative space is conveniently located in the heart of Carolina Beach and only 2 blocks from the beach and lake. A 5 minute walk to the Boardwalk is lots of great restaurants, shops, rentals, amusement rides, bars, coffee, ice-cream, donuts, an arcade & more!
Enjoy a hike through the state park, a visit to the aquarium, or a summer movie by the lake!
The beach is only a 0.2 mile walk from The Little Paddle! In addition to convenient beach access, this home is no more than a 5 minute walk to the boardwalk, local restaurants, shopping, and Carolina Beach Lake Park while still offering privacy and a quiet space to relax after a long day enjoying the beach.
The space: Lower unit of duplex. Private 1 Bed/1 Bath. Guests live in completely separate upstairs unit with different outside entrance. Check out our other listing The Sunrise Shack if you’re looking for more space!
Appliances: full size fridge, oven/stove, and microwave.
Fully stocked kitchen: Dishes, pots/pans, utensils, drip coffee pot, coffee, and tea. Bed linens and 2 bath towels provided, as well as hand soap, dish soap, shampoo and conditioner, trash bags, and paper towels.
WiFi available throughout the home and smart TV's in main living room and bedroom.
Well trained pets welcome with fee. Two pet limit, one time $200 pet fee per pet applies. Please let us know at time of booking if you will be bringing pets and how many.
Outdoor spaces: Long screened in front porch is perfect for sipping coffee while watching the sunrise. New spacious back deck and outdoor shower is great for family and friends after a long day at the beach. Enjoy yard games, relaxing sunsets, or let your dog run free in our large backyard.
Backyard is fully fenced but one fence is about 3ft tall.
Parking - 1 free spaces available: 1 space in front of the garage. Please be respectful of our neighbors and avoid parking in their yard.
Guest Access - Private access to entire 1st level (1 bed/1 bath). Our bathroom contains a stand up shower. We also have an outside shower located in the backyard that you can use.
Entry through front door. Keyless PIN code lock on front door that is specific to you.
Please keep in mind that our home was constructed in the 1940’s. And although our ceilings are insulated with Rockwool, you may occasional hear footsteps from the guests staying upstairs.
Guests are required to complete a rental agreement upon booking.

A bit smaller than we expected but it was clean, well furnished, cool and great location. The yard was big and clean. Great outdoor shower to rinse and help keep inside clean during stay. Will stay again

The Little Paddle was the perfect spot for us (2 adults and 1 dog) for the weekend! Super clean with thoughtful touches and a short walk to beach accesses and restaurants. It has a large backyard with a nice shaded deck for enjoying coffee or a glass of wine. We enjoyed our stay!

It was a beautiful little cottage and was very clean and looked like the pictures on the listing. My only complaint would be that there was no toaster in the kitchen and that the bed wasn't very comfortable. Otherwise it was a great stay!

It was a nice stay. Couch was uncomfortable and bed was okay but needed a better mattress. The Host was excellent. It was a cute and well kept little cabin. Close to everything. Could have used more bath towels and face towels. There wasn’t a toaster either. Unfortunately our pet passed so we did not get to partake of the wonderful fenced in back yard and deck. But I would definitely say it is a pets dream yard.
